Meet Mrs. Ericka
Married for 29 years, a military wife for several years, and now a law enforcement wife, because life changes and you make changes with life... a mother to my 3 beautiful, amazing kids the adventure began... so much knowledge, so much to do for them...so much to teach them... I wanted to continue and share the fun and incredible journey of being a mom, tutor, cook, driver, nurse, play date, personal shopper, and teacher among the many other hats we wear! So I switch gears from flight attendant, to a military wife, to a mom, to become an Early Childhood Educator. Teaching and educating children for over 20 years and going...
So I wondered one day “What is a good Educator ”. A good teacher is like a candle, consuming itself to light the way for her students. They are like planters, they plant the seeds of knowledge that will last a lifetime. To the world, a teacher may be just a teacher, but to a student, that teacher is a role model. Teachers, who love teaching, teach children to love learning. It is truly said that 'to teach a child is to touch a future’. Children who are nurtured and taught by sensitive and well-trained teachers and caregivers are more likely to progress toward both developmental and academic goals in their lives and are more ready to enter kindergarten and succeed in the future. Undoubtedly, the quality of children’s experiences depends on the knowledge, skills, and experience of the people who work with them, people like me. As my professional interests changed due to the new additions in my life I knew I need it to educate myself and acquired the training, education, and knowledge necessary to become successful and one of the best in the business and be an excellent Early Childhood Educator for the children.
